Yarrick Is Back! Old Bale Eye and Other Legends Return as Made to Order

Ignore the rumours, the one and only Commissar Yarrick is back. Actually, there are two of him – and loads of other classic Astra Militarum characters, who are all returning soon on a Made to Order basis.

Some of the characters might not have their own special rules in the new Astra Militarum codex, but they can certainly still be used as generic commanders and commissars.

Commissar Yarrick

The hero of Hades Hive, the Old Man, Old Bale Eye, or (to his mum) just plain Sebastian – Commissar Yarrick is one of the most storied warriors in the entire Astra Militarum.* Now, the legend returns with this classic resin model– Ghazghkull will be happy. You can also get the original Yarrick miniature from the 1990s, in metal, from the days when he was hanging around with Duinclaw too much – snip, snip!

かねてより予告されていたコミッサー8人と異端審問官二人、クリード将軍がメイドトゥーオーダーで注文できます。02/06　08：00（グリニッジ標準時なので日本時間02/06　18：00）まで日本では注文可能です。ネット注文できます。お近くにwarhammerのショップがあれば送料無料で注文できます。現時点で期限はwarhammer community　には書かれていませんが送られてきたメールには期限が書かれていました。基本的に1週間限定のようです。

今後はキャラクターとしては使えない可能性が高いが、コミッサーとしては使用可能とのこと。

1体1体でも、まあちょいお高いんです。全部買うともちろんドカっという値段になります。

しかしながら今回逃すともう購入できない可能性が非常に高いです。ウォーハンマーは非常に種類が多いので定期的に絶版商品が出てきます。古いガンプラもいつかは再販する日本とは事情が違います。ウォーハンマーは海外ではわかりませんが日本では過去の商品データベースなどは見ることできません。人知れず絶版になり誰の記憶からも消える恐れがあります。ネット社会の今でもそもそもウォーハンマーを記事にすること自体数は多くないのです。

中でもヤーリックさんとかはウォーハンマー40ｋのストーリー上結構大事な役割を果たしていますので持ってないけどストーリーに興味ある人は確保しといたほうがいいんじゃないかなと思います。私も全部はちょい無理ですが何人かは注文するつもりです。例えば異端審問官はもうすぐなくなるよの時に買い逃したので抑えときます。
